Tiger King Star Joe Exotic Infected With Coronavirus And Transferred To Hospital
Joe Exotic, star of Netflix’s Tiger King, has been infected with coronavirus while in prison.
Joe is serving a 22-year sentence at a Texas federal prison for two charges for murder for hire and, believe it or not, 17 charges of animal abuse.
Dillon Passage, his fourth husband, just recently revealed his concerns that Joe would contract the deadly virus, which was already present in the prison.
Joe had been self-isolating but has now contracted the virus, according to a report from the prison.
A report from Texomashompage.com reported he has tested positive for COVID-19 and has been transferred to a hospital.
He recently rose to fame in the UK when his documentary was released on Netflix, and he inspired an outpouring of memes due to his quirky dress sense and baffling lifestyle surrounded by tigers, guns and several husbands at a time.
Speaking to Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM Radio Andy show on Wednesday, Dillon said: “We speak like three to five times every day, but since he’s been moved to this new facility, they are putting him on a COVID-19 isolation because of the previous jail he was at, there were cases.
“I’ve yet to speak to him since he moved.”
Dillon then confirmed that Joe “is in his own COVID-19 quarantine.”
“From what I know, yes. From what he told me.”, he added.
