King of Thailand ‘Isolates’ Himself With 20 Girls in German Hotel And Sparks Outrage in His Homeland
Due to coronavirus outbreak many people all around the world have gone into self-isolation.
Isolation is hard to handle, but not for everyone.
For example, king of Thailand has gone into ‘isolation’ during the coronavirus outbreak with, believe it or not, TWENTY of his girlfriends, reports from Germany says.
King Maha Vajiralongkorn, also known as Rama X, is said to have checked into a posh German hotel with a harem of beautiful royal concubines.
German newspaper Bild claims the 67-year-old booked out all of the Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl in Bavaria after getting permision from local authorities.
The hotel is supposed to have closed down like all others in the region but has received “special permission” from the district council to accommodate the king’s huge entourage.
Pen pushers revealed they had made an exception to the rule as “the guests are a single, homogenous group of people with no changes”.
It is unclear if the wealthy King’s four wives are also staying in the four-star hotel in the Alpine resort town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
However, 119 members of the entourage – including multiple servants – have reportedly been flown back to Thailand over fears they have the killer virus.
News of the monarch’s self-isolation was met with anger by tens of thousands of people in his homeland, who risked breaking the country’s lèse-majesté laws by slamming him online.
Under the archaic laws, anyone who insults or criticises the monarchy faces up to 15 years behind bars.
But a hashtag which translated to ‘Why do we need a king?’ appeared 1.2 million times on Twitter within 24 hours of news breaking he was in Germany, reports The Times.
The Thai embassy in Berlin did not respond to requests for comment on Bild’s claims.
