It’s a strange world: Parents name their child born during coronavirus pandemic ‘Sanitiser’

Having a baby is surely a scary experience, especially now when coronavirus has the whole world on its knees. New parents are stressed, even when it comes to chosing a name for their newborn.

However, these two new parents have chosen for their child to act as a reminder of the time – and the safety measures we are using in an attempt to stay safe, so the pair decided to call their child Sanitiser! Yup, sanitizer!

They said they chose the name as the disinfectant has the capacity to fight against the virus, and added that medical staff were left smiling when they announced what they were going to call their child.

“Whenever people will talk of corona, they will remember that it was sanitiser that saved them,” said dad Omvir Singh, from Saharanpur in India, as reported by Kidspot.

“Everyone is fighting against this virus, from our prime minister to ordinary people. This is our contribution.”
