Owner Of Watson (The Hugging Dog) Revealed How She Taught Him To Hug

In case you’ve been following the story Kiko and Watson by now you sure know that Watson is the biggest sweetheart that loves to give hugs to his older brother Watson who recovered from cancer.

These two have a huge following on social media (TikTok and Instagram) and melt the hearts of their followers everyday with adorable pictures and videos.

Recently, their owner decided to reveal how she taught Watson how to hug. She posted a TikTok video explaining the process, saying that she first taught him to sit pretty using different treats or peanut butter. She holds the treats near her dog’s nose and rewards him every time he raises his paws.

After that she taught him that when he raises his paws to hug her legs – she added the word hug and gave him a treat every time he did that.

Very soon, Watson learned to hug every time he hears the word “hug”.
