Goldie Lola Fell In Love With The Dog Next Door, And Their Story Is Basically A Fairytale

Everyone loves a good love story, and we are sure that you will absolutely adore this one!

Lola is a shy golden retriever from England. Recently, Lola and her owner Amber Monte moved into their new home in Surrey.

Soon after that, Lola met the dog next door – Loki, who is a Staffordshire terrier, and sparks started to fly immediately.

Lola and Loki’s yards are separated with a wooden fence, but that does not stop them from seeing each other every day! Soon after Lola moved to their new neighborhood, they started to get to know each other. And step by step, a love story was written.

Lola’s owner explained to “The Dodo”: “We’ve never lived next to other dogs before, and Lola was so excited to see another dog so often! When Loki was in his garden he’d always jump up at the fence and look for Lola, as he knew she was usually there. Lola would always jump up and give him a little hello with some licks. We only just thought they were getting to know each other and that would be it, really.”

Soon after, she would learn that her dog fell deeply in love, and that it was much more that a friendship.

First she noticed a change in Lola’s behavior. She preferred to spend her days by the back door whining to go outside in the hope to meet Loki, while Loki waits outside for Lola to come out and play.

Luckily, Lola and Loki’s parents are understanding to their feelings and frequent visits.

Monte said: “They are inseparable when they are together.”
