The Former X Factor Participant Ate Pringles For 4 hours So He Wouldn’t Have To Wear A Mask

People are required to wear a face mask on board except when eating or drinking.
An X Factor reject has bragged about avoiding wearing a face mask on an easyJet flight to Tenerife by eating Pringles for four hours.
Michael Richards, decided to see how long he could go mask-free on the flight.
He said he only wore his mask for around ten minutes. Then he opened a pack of Pringles without stopping for the entire four hour journey.
Michael later worked out he’d eaten one crisp every two and a half minutes to dodge wearing his mask.
Sharing the result on Facebook, he said: “When you’re spending four hours on a plane you think of stuff, and I thought the only way you don’t have to wear a mask on a plane is if you’re eating or drinking.”
“So I thought I’d take my time eating these Pringles to see how long they’d last, and I kept nibbling away, but it was hard because once you pop you can’t stop, you know.”
“I’d say I only had to wear a mask for about 10 minutes of the flight and that was when I had to get up to use the toilet and to get my suitcase down.”
Some people on Facebook commented to say how impressed they were, while others were more concerned.
One wrote: “Good idea. I’m doing this next time.”
But another said: “Glad I was not on that plane.”
The current law in England states you must wear a face mask on public transport – including aeroplanes, airports, trains and train stations unless there is a reasonable excuse for removing it.
Admitting he understands the importance of masks, the dad said: “I’m not anti-mask or anything and I’ve been wearing them on holiday and at home, in shops, so I’m all for looking after people.”
“It was just a bit of a light-hearted go at the mask subject, really, because there’s so much depression in the world now, people like to be uplifted.”
