Caroline Flack’s Mum Granted Daughter’s ‘Final Wish’ And Released Her Final Statement
Family of late Caroline Flack decieded to release her final, unpublished Instagram post to grant her ‘little voice’ the chance to be heard amid a barrage of ‘untruths.’
Caroline told, in very heartbreaking statement, that her life was affected by assault allegations, after she was accused of hitting boyfriend Lewis Burton with a lamp.
Former Love Island host was due to face trial on March 3, but tragically took her own life on Saturday a day after learning the CPS would be pursuing the court case against her.
Before her death, Caroline poured her heart out in a defiant statement but her advisors warned her not to share it with her 2.7 million Instagram followers.
After she tragically took her own life, Caroline’s family wanted to make sure her last words were heard.
Her mum Chris told the family’s local paper, the Eastern Daily Press, how Caroline sent her the draft message at the end of January.
“So many untruths were out there but this is how she felt and my family and I would like people to read her own words,” she explained.
“Carrie was surrounded by love and friends but this was just too much for her.”
She added: “It was describing how she was feeling and what she had gone through – no more than that. It was not blaming anyone or pointing any fingers.
“We want people to read it and want it to be shared through the EDP who we really trust and always have done.”
