EastEnders star Dean Gaffney, 42, poses with his twin daughters, 23, and says ‘family is everything at this time’

Just like the rest of the nation, EastEnders star Dean Gaffney is self-isolating at home with his family.
Gne EastEnders star Dean Gaffney shared a picture of himself with his twin daughters PrettyLittleThing’s PR co-ordinator, Chloe and Charlotte, 23, as they enjoyed a moment in the garden on Monday. Dean captioned the snap ‘Family really is everything at this time.’
It’s a relief to see Dean looking so well as last month, he was convinced he had contracted the coronavirus after losing his sense of smell and taste.
He had taken to Instagram after seeing the latest government guidelines on symptoms of COVID-19 and declared ‘oh s***’.
He wrote: ‘I haven’t been able to smell or taste for 5 days… oh s**t.’
He then posted an Instagram Stories in which he wrote: ‘Boris and his conservative team… hats off to you,’ alongside some heart and clapping emojis.’
Medical experts had stressed that older people and those with underlying health conditions are at greater risk of falling seriously ill from the virus.
Their bodies are already weaker due to age or a impaired immune system, and therefore find it more difficult to fight off the virus.
But it doesn’t leave children and younger people free to continue their lives as normal, with experts constantly reminding them that they must comply with social distancing measures.
On Tuesday morning, it was reported that there have neen 84,279 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK alone.
There have so far been a total of 11,309 deaths from COVID: 19 with a staggering 119,724 deaths worldwide.
