The Reason Why Alex Karev Wasn’t Killed Off ”Grey’s Anatomy” Will Bring You Back Your Faith In Shonda

Last week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy was a final goodbye for Alex Karev who left his life in Seattle behind for Izzie and their five-year-old twins who are living on a farm.

I know… I didn’t see it coming either. Neither did other fans. Also, it’s safe to say that no one liked that ending and everyone literally feels like Jo deserved better than this.

A lot of fans said that it would have been better if they simply killed Alex off (a bit morbid, but ok), but it seems that there is a really good reason why that isn’t the case.

“The reason he wasn’t killed off is that Shonda Rhimes is leaving the door open for a return, in any capacity, if he wants to come back,” an insider exclusively told Us Weekly.

WOW. Honestly, this just brought me back some faith in Shonda, even tho – repeat after me: JO.DESERVED.BETTER.THAN.THIS!!!!
