So at the one side (Marvel) we have Michael who’s carrying Captain American shield proudly and in the other (DC) corner is Scott. They are both huge fans but have some differences by seeing their favourite as the best.
Arguing important issues, including ‘Are DC characters more iconic?’ and ‘Batman would beat any character in a fight’, gets tempers rising and sparks furious debate between these two super-fans.
Marvel is a favourite for many fans, with key characters such as Spider-Man, Ant-Man, Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk and Captain America.
Yet DC has been around for much longer and has many of the original superheroes that people will know and love, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Green Lantern.
One thing is clear in this debate – the gloves are off and the discussion is fierce and heated.
Even Heath Ledger, Joaquin Phoenix and Jack Nicholson are on the table as examples of brilliant villains in superhero films. Marvel fights back strong, with examples of “Wakanda forever!” as an iconic tagline.
