Bad News For All “Friends” Fans: There Will Be No Remake Due To Coronavirus… At Least For Now!

Fans around the world were eagerly looking forward to the Friends reunion special, but unfortunately the show is reportedly the latest casualty of Hollywood being shut down by the coronavirus.
Filming of the show is postponed until May, according to US outlet Deadline.
However, there are still several outlets who clam that producers are aiming for the special to be ready for the launch of the HBO Max streaming service in May. HBO Max declined to comment.
Except Friends, other major series had to paused production including Netflix’s Stranger Things and Apple TV+ drama The Morning Show.
The release of James Bond film No Time To Die has also been pushed back to November while Disney has delayed a string of big releases, including its Mulan remake and superhero movie Black Widow.
