She couldn’t help herself: Jennifer Aniston’s stinging insult to Brad Pitt over steamy Angelina Jolie photoshoot

When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie flaunted their blossoming romance with a steamy photoshoot the usually private Jennifer Aniston couldn’t help but pass comment.

Jennifer and Brad’s five year marriage came crashing down in 2005 after Brad starred in action romcom Mrs and Mrs Smith with rumours swirling he’d embarked on an affair with co-star Angelina Jolie.

Then just seven months after Brad left Jennifer heartbroken, he posed up for a 60 page spread in W magazine with Angelina, entitled Domestic Bliss.

The concept was a collaboration between Brad and photographer Steven Klein which only fuelled rumours he and Angelina were in the midst of an affair.

In the finished piece presented Brad and Angelina as a passionate husband and wife taking care of an adorable brood of children.

Among the slew of pictures Brad was seen carrying Angelina to bed, dancing cheek to cheek with her and in one particularly racy shot, lying topless as she clambered on top of him.

The shoot was particularly controversial as neither Angelina or Brad had confirmed if they were dating.

Shortly after the pictures hit newstands across America, Jennifer was due to be interviewed by Vanity Fair magazine where she was asked for her take.

Jennifer admitted she didn’t know that Brad had conceptualised the project and was making a profit from it.

“Is it odd timing? Yeah. But it’s not my life,” she said. “He makes his choices. He can do—whatever. We’re divorced, and you can see why.”

She added, “I can also imagine Brad having absolutely no clue why people would be appalled by it. Brad is not mean-spirited; he would never intentionally try to rub something in my face. In hindsight, I can see him going, ‘Oh – I can see that that was inconsiderate.’ But I know Brad. Brad would say, ‘That’s art!’”

Jen then gave the infamous line that has forever been associated with her feelings on Brad. “There’s a sensitivity chip that’s missing,” she said bluntly.

Thankfully, the pair have managed to repair their bond and shocked fans with their closeness at the SAG Awards back in January.
