Rebel Wilson’s impressive weight loss methods have been revealed after the star lost 18kg so far.
The 40-year-old Australian actress has wowed fans in recent months by showing off her weight-loss progress – after starting a fitness regime after dropping 8lbs in one week while filming Cats last year.
Rebel has since lost over 2 stone since announcing her intention to get in shape earlier this year.
And now sources close to the star have revealed that Rebel has been following the Mayr Method diet plan and has enjoyed exercise retreats at the Vivamayr clinic as part of her fitness programme.
Speaking of the Mayr Method diet plan, a source told People: “It’s an approach that eliminates food intolerances, reduces sugar, encourages eating whole foods slowly, boosts the immune system and reduces inflammation.”
The source continued stating that Rebel has been working up a sweat to get in shape.
The said: “She exercises with a personal trainer up to six times a week, goes on walks and is trying to up her protein intake nutritionally.”
They added: “I know she’s also been working on conquering her emotional eating patterns of behaviour.”
Rebel is believed to have checked in to the Vivamayr clinic – a health and fitness retreat that attracts the A List including Sarah, Duchess of York.
It has been reported that Rebel enjoyed classes and treatments at the resort including: “aerial yoga, vitamin drips, massages, algae wraps and facials.”
