Jennifer Stone, Star of Wizards of Waverly Place, Is Now a Nurse And Fighting Coronavirus

Situation in the world has changed due to coronavirus global pandemic.

Believe it or not, some celebrities have changed their jobs. Jennifer Stone may be most famous for playing Harper Finkle in Wizards of Waverly Place but she is now a registered nurse.

If you are a fan of Disney Channel, then you definitely know who Jennifer Stone is. Not only did the 27-year-old star showed up in Wizards of Waverly Place, but she also played the titular character in the iconic Disney Channel movie: Harriet the Spy: Blog Wars.

But, global pandemic has changed the world, so Jennifer is now a nurse and she’s fighting coronavirus.

Taking to her Instagram page yesterday (Apr 8), Jennifer said: “A very good friend of mine (@maiarawalsh) pointed out to me that today is #worldhealthday. It is also the day I went from a volunteer, then a student nurse, and now an RN resident. I just hope to live up to all of the amazing healthcare providers on the front lines now as I get ready to join them.”

Jennifer also shared a photo of her IDS as a volunteer, a student nurse and as an official nurse resident. Jennifer decided to study to become a nurse in 2013 after she was diagnosed with Type 1.5 diabetes. Speaking to Beyond Type in 2016, she explained that she put acting on hold and study “to understand [her] body and the impact of Type 1”.
