Ellen DeGeneres shamed an audience member who took extra free gift for sister

Ellen DeGeneres, 62, has often been openly mean to celebrity guests on her show.
And an unearthed clip from 2017 shows that as well as famous faces, she does not mind shaming audience members – when she got the opportunity to do so.
Three years ago, on an episode of the American host’s talk show, she embarrassed a fan named Nancy who was sat in the live studio audience.
She targeted Nancy after she was filmed secretly taking extra items of free merchandise that had been laid out for ticket holders to take before filming started.
Later on, Ellen played the clip live for the audience and then pointed Nancy out and jibed at her.
Nancy grew red-faced as she explained that she took the extra stuff as she wanted to give it to her sister who was unable to attend.
Unimpressed and in a bid to turn the audience against her, Ellen then hit back: “A lot of people’s sisters couldn’t come.”
She then continued: “You are one of those people who go trick or treating and take the whole bowl!”
Nancy responded: “No!” before Ellen ordered her to the ‘Ellen jail’.
For months, Ellen has found herself engulfed in accusations of bullying behaviour by employees, past guest, and fellow celebs – with many calming her mean nature is common knowledge among the Hollywood elite.
