Golden Retriever Puppy Jumps In Front Of Owner To Save Her From Snake Bite

Arizona resident Paula Godwin was walking her two dogs when she nearly stepped in a rattlesnake.

Lucky for her, she had a hero by her side! Her golden retriever puppy called Todd rushed in front of his mom to block her from the bite.

He got lunged on the muzzle instead, saving his owner from a very painful and venomous bite.

Thankfully, Godwin was able to get the little hero to the animal hospital very soon after that. The vet treated him with antivenom and kept him for the restoration of the day for monitoring.

Todd is much better now.
