Cat Owner Is Left Mortified After Her Cat Returns With A Note On Its Collar From The Local Toby Carvery Asking If The Pet Has A Home Because It’s ‘Always There’

The note asked if Tula had a home because she’s ‘always’ lurking in the restaurant.
Posting on the Abbey Meads Community Group on Facebook, Nicole Clark told how she discovered her Siberian feline Tula had been sneakily indulging in scraps from her local Toby Carvery in Swindon.
A cat owner has shared her surprise at finding a note attached to her feline’s collar that revealed she had been scrounging food from a local restaurant.
The note asked if Tula had a home because she’s ‘always’ lurking in the restaurant.
Sharing a photo of the handwritten letter, she wrote: ‘Our beautiful cat has just come home with this paper collar on – I can imagine she’s been trying for the sympathy vote in the hope of getting some meat!!
She explained that the restaurant is just a few streets away and possible for Tula to reach using the surrounding gardens.
Many of the staff members were well acquainted with Tula, and Nicole, a teacher, admitted she was amused by the situation.
‘They said the other night she hadn’t gone home so they had tried to lure her in with prawns to pick her up but she wouldn’t let them. She’s apparently been going there since it reopened after lockdown,’ Nicole said.
