This Video Of A Giant Spider Hunting A Cop Has Left The Internet Baffled

A very unusual and terrifying video has been very popular, as it appears to show a US police officer being stalked by one giant spider.
As you can see in the footage, the unsuspecting police officer is simply carrying out a routine check, unaware of the eight-legged freak slowly making its way towards him from the left of the dashcam.
It is, of course, just a regular-sized spidey crawling across the windscreen of the parked cop car from where the footage is being shot. It just happened to crawl past at the right place, at the right time, giving it the appearance of being terrifyingly massive.
The clip was posted to Facebook by the Fulshear Police department, with the caption: “Who needs Hollywood special effects?
Who needs Hollywood special effects? This little guy was positioned perfectly on the windshield of the patrol car and gave our clerk, who was reviewing the video, quite the "Halloween scare."

The video has been viewed more than 32,000 times since it was posted and has many viewers chuckling to themselves in the run-up to Halloween.
One commenter wrote, “I hope the clerk got a raise,” while another said, “I would NOT get back into that squad! Lol.”
And a third added: “This is too adorable! I loved it. Thank you for the much-needed giggle today!” Unpopular opinion, or what?
