Disney+ to stream ‘Frozen 2’ just in time for your quarantine

With all the news of movie release delays amid the coronavirus pandemic, Disney just became the first company to offer the opposite.
Disney+ will make Frozen 2 available this weekend, three months earlier than planned.
U.S. users will be able to watch the hit movie on streaming Sunday March 15; it will be available in Canada, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand on March 17.
“Frozen 2 has captivated audiences around the world through its powerful themes of perseverance and the importance of family, messages that are incredibly relevant during this time,” according to Bob Chapek, Bob Iger’s replacement as CEO of The Walt Disney Company. “We are pleased to be able to share this heartwarming story early with our Disney+ subscribers to enjoy at home on any device.”
Frozen 2 saw the biggest box office opening ever for an animated movie, so it’s safe to say it will be popular among those of us who are socially distancing ourselves for the next few weeks.
The move may not completely shake our coronavirus-fueled anxieties, but it can make a couple of hours maybe easier.
