These past few days the whole Kim-Taylor-Kanye drama came back to life after the full phone call of Kanye talking to Taylor about his song “Famous” got leaked.
While Taylor didn’t actually publicly addressed the drama (she only posted a cryptic Instagram story in which she linked charities), Kim went off on Twitter, defending herself and her husband yet again.
Back in 2016 Kim posted parts of the video on her Snapchat, and that move could now get her into legal trouble, if the whole phone call was recorded without Taylor knowing.
With the recording of the phone call, Kanye broke California’s privacy laws, as California is a two party state, which at least Kim should know… As a law student, you know…
The possible allegations include: passing a lie as factual information against the person being defamed, publishing it to a “third party”, behaving “negligently, recklessly or intentionally” and “damaging the victim’s reputation.”
Could this get Kim behind bars? The answer is actually yes, if Taylor decides to press charges – which she could now totally do with the whole video being out.
Is this scenario likely to happen? Not really, to be honest, as it is not very likely that Swift will even press charges. Even if she does – one thing is sure: KKW beauty owner will lawyer up!
